About Me
Hi, I’m “Shinrin” Sam. Bros I’m an artist, mangaka, photographer, folklorist
and naturalist. I write/draw the manga series Ronin Yoshino. My first artistic
subjects were dinosaurs, wildlife, Dragons & mythical animals. I started
drawing anime style art in 2000. I studied professional photography for several
years & earned certificates. Much of my inspiration comes from nature,
mythology & archeology.

Achievements:
-Ronin Yoshino chapter 1 won 3rd place in the ADV Films manga contest in
2006.
-Hidesato won as runner up winner in the FUNimation manga contest in 2007.
-The dragon king from Hidesato was featured as a flying machine in the
Redbull Flugtag in Bucuresti, Romania by team Eroii inaripati in 2010.
-My Pharaoh Atemu drawing was featured as an Honorable Mention in the
Shonen Jump Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Art contest in 2011.
